Rajma Masala

Cook Time: 20 minutes + overnight soaking

Ingredients

Red Kidney Beans 100 g
Oil 15 g
Onions 30 g
Ginger Garlic Paste 5 g
Tomato Purée 75 g
MTR Chilli Powder 2 g
MTR Coriander Powder 1 g
MTR Cumin Powder 1 g
MTR Turmeric Powder 0.5 g
Salt 5.5 g
Water 720 ml
Coriander Leaves 2 g
MTR Special Garam Masala 3 g

Method Of Preparations

  1. Cook the Rajma in a pressure cooker along with 500 ml water and 1 g salt for 10 whistles.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste. Sauté till brown.
  3. Now add MTR Chilli Powder, MTR Coriander Powder, MTR Cumin Powder, MTR Turmeric Powder and cook on low flame.
  4. Add tomato purée and cook till oil separates.
  5. Now add boiled rajma and cook well.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
  7. Serve hot.
