Masala Potato Saagu

Ingredients

Oil 20 g
Mustard Seeds 1 g
Urad Dal 3 g
Chana Dal 3 g
Green Chillies 6 g
Ginger 3 g
Curry Leaves 1 g
Onions 100 g
Tomatoes 60 g
Boiled Potatoes 300 g
MTR Turmeric Powder 0.5 g
Salt 7.5 g
Sugar 2 g
Coriander leaves 3 g
Lemon Juice 6 g
Water 500 ml
Asafoetida 0.05 g
MTR Special Garam Masala 5 g

Method Of Preparations

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and fry till they crackle.
  2. Add Asafoetida.
  3. Add Chana dal, Urad dal and fry till brown.
  4. Add green chillies, ginger and curry leaves.
  5. Add onions and sauté till translucent.
  6. Add MTR Turmeric Powder, MTR Special Garam Masala, salt and sugar.
  7. Add mashed potatoes and water. Mix well and let it cook.
  8. Add lemon juice, garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
  9. Serve hot.
