Ingredients
Green Moong Dal | 125 g |
Water | 800 ml |
Oil | 15 g |
Cumin Seeds | 1.5 g |
Onions (Chopped) | 45 g |
Red Chillies | 2 g |
Asafoetida | 0.05 g |
Green Chillies | 2 g |
Ginger | 5 g |
Tomatoes | 80 g |
MTR Turmeric Powder | 1.5 g |
MTR Special Garam Masala | 1.5 g |
Salt | 6.5 g |
Ghee | 15 g |
Method Of Preparations
- Wash and pressure cook the green Moong Dal for 4 whistles.
- Gently open the pressure cooker and mix the contents.
- Heat oil in a pan, add crackle the cumin seeds.
- Add red chillies, green chillies, ginger and chopped onion. Sauté till the onions turn translucent.
- Add MTR Turmeric Powder and MTR Special Garam Masala.
- Add chopped tomatoes and sauté.
- Add cooked dal and mix well. Cook to reduce to a thicker consistency.
- Serve hot.
