Green Moong Dal Fry

Ingredients

Green Moong Dal 125 g
Water 800 ml
Oil 15 g
Cumin Seeds 1.5 g
Onions (Chopped) 45 g
Red Chillies 2 g
Asafoetida 0.05 g
Green Chillies 2 g
Ginger 5 g
Tomatoes 80 g
MTR Turmeric Powder 1.5 g
MTR Special Garam Masala 1.5 g
Salt 6.5 g
Ghee 15 g

Method Of Preparations

  1. Wash and pressure cook the green Moong Dal for 4 whistles.
  2. Gently open the pressure cooker and mix the contents.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add crackle the cumin seeds.
  4. Add red chillies, green chillies, ginger and chopped onion. Sauté till the onions turn translucent.
  5. Add MTR Turmeric Powder and MTR Special Garam Masala.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes and sauté.
  7. Add cooked dal and mix well. Cook to reduce to a thicker consistency.
  8. Serve hot.
