Ingredients: Semolina (93.6%), carrot powder (6%), Paprika extract(0.4%)

How to cook

Carrot Vermicelli Upma

Take 1 cup (100gms) Carrot Vermicelli, dry roast it for 2 minutes and keep aside.

Heat 1 1/2 tbsp of oil in a pan, add a few mustards seeds and stir fry until seeds pop.

Add ½ tsp channa dal, 1 tsp cashew nuts and sauté till it turns brown

Add 1 chopped green chilli, few curry leaves and ¼ tsp chopped ginger. Saute well.

Add 1 small sized chopped onion and sauté till translucent.

Add 1 ½ cups (300ml) of water and salt as per taste. Mix well.

Once water starts boiling, add roasted Carrot Vermicelli and cook for 6-7 minutes on medium flame.

Add some chopped coriander and serve hot.

Carrot Vermicelli Payasam

Take ½ cup (50gms) of Carrot Vermicelli, dry roast it for 2 minutes and keep aside

Boil 4 cups (800ml) milk in a heavy bottom vessel, add roasted Carrot Vermicelli and cook for 7 minutes.

Add ½ cup (100gms) of sugar and cook for 3 minutes. Switch off the flame.

Heat 1 tsp ghee in a tadka pan, add cashew nuts and sauté till light brown.

Add 1 tsp raisins and fry till the raisins puff.

Add to the Payasam and serve hot.

Carrot Vermicelli Corn Pulao

Take ½ cup (50gms) Carrot Vermicelli, dry roast it for 2 minutes and keep aside.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 small chopped onion and sauté till translucent. Add a few chopped green chillies, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste and sauté till raw flavour goes off.

Add 1 tbsp chopped tomato and sauté till mushy.

Add 3 tbsp corn, a few coriander and mint leaves.

Add ¼ tsp MTR Pulao Masala, ¾ cup (150ml) water and salt as per taste. Once water starts boiling, add roasted Carrot Vermicelli and cook for 6-7 minutes on a medium flame.

Serve hot.
